4K AI Image Generator

Flux3Maker generates native 4K images — 3840×2160 pixels rendered directly by FLUX 3 Image, not a 1024px draft pushed through an upscaler. Free visitors generate at up to 2K; 4K output costs 4 credits from a credit pack (packs start at $4.90). Verified October 2026.

Native 4K vs upscaled 4K — why it matters

Many "4K" AI image tools generate a small image first and enlarge it with a separate upscaler, which softens fine detail and text. FLUX 3 Image renders the full canvas at generation time, so a 4K poster keeps letterforms and line work sharp when you zoom to 100%. At 300 DPI print density, 3840×2160 pixels gives you a 12.8″×7.2″ print — enough for an A4 landscape poster at photographic quality.

What does 4K mean here, exactly?

The 4K preset on Flux3Maker is 3840×2160 pixels (the standard 4K UHD landscape size). Portrait and square outputs use the other sizes in the table — a "4K-class" portrait is 2160×3840, the same pixel count rotated. We label sizes in pixels everywhere rather than marketing every option as "4K".

How much does a 4K image cost?

4 credits. Credit packs: Starter $4.90 / 20 credits, Creator $19 / 100 credits, Studio $59 / 400 credits — so a 4K render costs $0.98 on the Starter pack, and a 1024px square costs $0.245. One credit equals one 1024px image; 2K sizes cost 2 credits. Credits never expire mid-period and are consumed per successful generation.

Do free users get 4K?

No — and we say so up front. The free tier (3 images a day, no sign-up) renders at up to 2K. If you pick the 4K preset without credits, the generator tells you before spending anything and renders at 2K instead. What the free tier includes.

What is 4K actually good for?

  • Print: posters, book covers and flyers where letterforms must survive 300 DPI.
  • Desktop wallpapers and presentation backgrounds on 4K monitors, without visible upscaling blur.
  • Cropping: a 3840×2160 render gives you room to crop 50% and still keep a full-HD image.
  • Text-heavy designs — see typography examples in the real-render gallery.
